屏東縣民宿協會理事長林榮欽說，看準陸客商機，近幾年墾丁的民宿如雨後春筍般興起，多到超過市場需求，墾丁地價又大幅飆漲，加上去年生意慘澹，揹負銀行貸款壓力的民宿主人，如果撐不下去，只能選擇易手；但接國內客的高檔飯店影響有限。
